Just a short note tonight, oh blog fans. I’m beat and should head to my cozy bed (instead of sitting at this desk where my right side is freezing and my left side if comfortable – stupid cheap windows). I’ve been working remotely again this evening (after having spent some quality time with recall postcards earlier in the evening) and have done just enough. It’s pay week and the money is decidedly short, so I may be out of luck paycheck wise again. <sigh>. Seriously, you want to own your own business out there? Think about it loooonnngggg and hard. It’s sweet sometimes, but not all it is cracked up to be. Don’t get me wrong, it will cycle itself around again, but man, the anvil is getting pretty damn close to knocking me out here (remember the slow-motion anvil dropping on Wile E. Coyote? Then you know what I’m saying!) Are you sick of me complaining about money yet? Me too.
My dad is off to sunny FLA tomorrow – and although it will take them 3 days to get there, they will make up for it by staying for 3 months. Nice, eh? How far away is retirement again? 😀
