Since I’m always in need of a project apparently, I took a look into the playroom the other day and saw this:

And I decided it was time to do SOMETHING about the disaster that we call the playroom.  Especially since the boys spend more time out of it than in it playing.

So I spent some time on IKEA’s website and came up with a plan.  And changed my mind once I got there. 

30 hours later (ok, maybe less, but it felt like 130 with all of the cleaning, throwing away, building and reorganizing) it looks like this:

It’s fresh and clean and organized.  The boys each have their own desktop to color or drive cars or use playdoh or whatever at.  There are pillows to relax on and since things have been moved around, it’s like they got a bunch of new stuff.

I’m very pleased with how it turned out.  And it only took two trips to the big I to finish it!

Preston loves having his picture taken, so we took some shots of us together while we were goofing around.  The best shots were the ones with him alone, but I do like this cuddly one of us together.

And what post these days would be complete without a puppy picture?
