Here I am! I know you were concerned about my lack of posting!

Well, it happened today. I've reached that critical and oh-so-annoying phase of the end of pregnancy where I simply am not allowed (by my body and Peanut) to get nearly as much done as I want and need to. Yesterday was the last day of my seemingly endless energy (luckily we used it well and got lots of presents for the boy's 2nd birthday this weekend!). But today, after a night of actual sleep, I woke up tired. And by the time I got home from a trip to Sam's Club, I actually HAD to sit down and relax for awhile. And then, a mere cleaning of the shelves in the laundry room winded me and I had to relax again! UGH. Just getting up and down from the floor playing with boy, walking up the stairs, folding and putting away laundry, blah blah blah….and I'm totally winded and Peanut feels like he wants to break free. <sigh> I know I never sit still and this is nature's way of telling me to slow the heck down, but man, there's MORE I NEED TO DO!!

BUT, I know my limits (and usually ignore them) and I will try to listen to my body. I packed my bag for the hospital today, so minus a couple of things that I need to throw in the last minute, I'm ready for that part. The new boy's clothes are all washed and put away, the nursery is ready…just a few more directly-related things to do, like bring up the bassinet and pick up the pack-n-play.

There's much I would like to accomplish at my office this week, but I have a feeling that I'm going to be delegating much more than accomplishing. Kind of annoying, but I suppose I can handle it – none of it is super-important, just stuff I need to get done. Now that things are starting to level off at work, I'm feeling a little more comfortable about it. And my new employee has already begun to impress me, so that's a step in the right direction. I may even hire someone else for a few days a week to help with answering the phones and filing and such.

What else is new? Hmmmm….someone is supposed to be coming tomorrow to check out our shower. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that they will (a) show up, (b) be affordable and able to do the job and (c) able to do the job in a quick-like manner. I need my shower back! I had this little fantasy the other day of soaking in my tub with candles lit, a good book, soft music and freshly painted and decorated walls…. AHHHHH….

I've been testing my blood sugar at home since I can't seem to get myself to the lab to get some blood drawn an hour after I eat…my numbers actually seem just fine. I had one really high reading, but I'm excusing it because it was an hour after a huge Mountain Dew and Taco Bell!! Since then, they've all been low-normal, which is exactly what I told the doctor!

Ok, I have nothing else to say, I guess. BORING, I know, but deal with it. Otherwise, write your own damn blog!
