Friday Goodness

Tell me something good!! [I'm starting a new tradition today, and I would be thrilled if you would play along!]

Tell me something good that happened to you this week – I don’t care how big or small, just tell me SOMETHING GOOD!!! (bonus points if you are singing the song in your head right now!)

I’ll go first…

The Space Room is DONE. Finished!! (ok, wait, it’s like 99% done, but it’s just wee things left)
I got the all clear from my oncologist!!! I see dermatology in a few months, but so far so good!
Preston is doing great and his surgery will be scheduled for mid-August. Sucks that he has to have surgery, but it will be nice to know he won’t have further issues.
My new iPhone is awesome. I’m a wee annoyed at the signal discrepancies and the fact that Steve is saying it’s the way I hold my phone, but for the awesomeness that it is, I’ll get a case for it and change how I hold it so I don’t drop calls!!

Sounds like lots of good things happening in your life. Whoo hoo!! Hubby & I had a date night. I tried some new recipes that everyone enjoyed. And, I'm handling summer break with 4 kids pretty well (not an easy thing to do while raising a stepkid that is Bipolar, ADHD, and OCD). P.S. I get the bonus points, because I did start singing that song in my head. =) Reply

My kids were in a day camp all week and I had five consecutive mornings all to myself ;) P.S. So glad you got the all clear from the oncologist! Reply

This is so timely. I have been in a funk all week desperate for some time alone with my hubby! Heck just time alone would be good :) so. I love the focus here :) My sweet Rose graduated from Kindergarten. We spent two days at two different beaches, met up with an old friend where we used to live and ate icecream every night this week! :) so happy about onc news. Sorry P has to have surgery, but so glad he's ok. (deep breath. Exhale) I'm feeling a wee bit better already :) but you always have that effect on me :) Reply
