See, Mike was a catcher – that’s pretty much all I’ve ever known him to be. I love catchers – it’s by far my favorite baseball position. There’s just something cool about it.

And I missed his first time out there.
Dammit.

Matt had a field trip to the Leslie Science Center in Ann Arbor today where we learned about birds.  It was very cool to see a Turkey Vulture up close (and listen to their hilarious rap they made up) and learn how these birds use their beaks and talons.

I didn’t get to ride the bus (but since I followed in my car it sure felt like it…soooo sloooow!), but I was glad to be there with Matt and learn, especially since the day turned out to be gorgeous and we took a lovely hike through the woods.
