Further proof he sees all

We took the boys to see Santa this morning (luckily we got there early…thanks local news for outing our never-too-busy place!!)

The boys had initially not wanted to go, but did change there minds (thank goodness!). Mike and I are afraid that Matt is starting to distrust the magic. To that I say too damn bad…no belief, no presents, dammit!!!

Luckily, Santa was awesome…not only did he seriously consider their requests, he told them that while he was very proud of them being on his good list, that they needed to do a few things to ensure they stayed there…

  • Stop fighting
  • Brush teeth and be sure to recap the toothpaste
  • Pick up their toys
  • And best of all?! He told them that they should do what we ask of them the first time!

See, it is magic. And the looks on their faces? Pure awesome.

My mother told Santa only brings gifts to children who believe.
If you ask my brother or I if we believe in Santa… we still say yes.
And honestly… I believe in the idea of Santa. The spirit.

Ha! Love how Santa picked out “specific” things for them to do in order to stay on the good list, and how those things are definitely applicable to like 99.9% of all kids 🙂 Very clever, Santa! Very clever.

Merry Christmas!
