One of the things that I’ve always wanted to do is take some kind of cooking class. One night I was goofing around online and found some classes through Lifelong Learning at WCC. The class that caught my eye was Chocolate Truffles..a hands on class during which I could learn how to make yummy chocolate balls….mmm….chocolate balls. So, I got in touch with my friend Shine and she readily agreed to join me.
Our class was the other night and we had a great time. The class was small, which was nice because it not only allowed us more room, but the opportunity to make more varieties of truffles. Our instructor was great – young, friendly and with a good sense of humor. Shine and I joined up with Amy (another student) and together the 3 of us made 4 varieties of truffles, not to mentioned got messy, had some great laughs and a lot of fun.
The recipes were fabulous – our group made Orange Cardamom, Mocha, Grand Marnier and Earl Grey. Another group added in Sugared Ginger. Every one was so decadent and yummy!!
We had such fun – I can’t wait until their calendar comes out after the first of the year so we can take another class! (A gift certificate would sure be a nice gift, hint hint!)

Yay on you! Gorgeous!
Were they difficult to make? Truffles seem so fancy.
