*My baby lost his first tooth today.
How can that be?? He actually cried tonight after he went to bed because he will “miss” his baby tooth! Such a dramatic kid I have!! But cute, eh? I assured him that the tooth fairy leaves the teeth with mamas so they can hang on to them. 🙂
*I think of having melanoma at random times and it is like a sucker punch in the stomach. I can literally feel my breath whoosh out of my lungs and my heart beat faster. I’m sure (mostly) that I/they caught it in time, but the waiting for the consultation appointment at U of M makes it harder. Once we get to and through that appointment, I’m sure I’ll feel better. (it’s next Wednesday, FYI).
I can’t imagine having to tell my boys. Please don’t make me have to tell my boys.
*So there’s this whole BlogHer thing going on in Chicago this weekend. I won’t be there. Kind of wish I were, since there are so many people I would love to meet face to face! Plus, it sounds like a lot of fun! But, it wasn’t meant to be this year. (even though it is SO close!) I will have to see what next year brings…and see where it is!
*I’ve been having a really hard time with motivation lately. For everything: dishes, house cleaning, laundry, work projects, exercise, outside stuff, even sewing & crafting. I just don’t feel like it. I was so rejuvenated after DC, I’m not sure what happened! I’ve got to get my head back in the game somehow…

I totally SUCK at keeping up with the blogosphere lately, most especially when it comes to my favs like you. Melanoma? Sweetie, I’m sorry. If there’s anything I can, even if it’s just someone to vent to, I’m here.

I have a feeling that Gaby’s first lost tooth is gonna come up and kick me in the face, sooner than I’m comfortable with. She’s my last and I imagine it’s going to be hard.
And I totally feel ya on the lack of motivation. Since I got back from BlogFest I am just a blob. I mean, I’m normally a blob, but more blobby than lately. Yep that’s me, a huge blonde blob.
