Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen things I’ve done in the past week (or so)

  1. Got my office using Instant Messaging so they can reach me without calling or faxing me. (More convenient and much more fun!!)
  2. Started working on Christmas presents
  3. Organized the art/craft/game closet
  4. Laughed my ass off (figuratively, not literally, though a girl can dream) playing golf with the neighbors. Don’t even remember what it was now, but recall the lovely feeling of laughing so hard I could barely breathe. Love that feeling.
  5. Was a parent chaperone for a field trip for the first time.
  6. Yelled too much. (But apologized just as much).
  7. Attempted to plan a trip to Florida for January…almost planned. Now, to find the money.
  8. Didn’t finish all of the laundry, dishes or housecleaning.
  9. Read the second book that the TrueBlood HBO series is based on.
  10. Put up some Halloween decorations
  11. Read somewhere between 28-40 books to my kids.
  12. Rediscovered my love of Halloween sized candy
  13. Found 2 of 3 desktops in my craft room/office.

For all that doing nothing yesterday, turns out I actually did get something done this week.  🙂

By the way, thanks my comment luvs.  Yesterday turned out fine. Preston and I did a whole lot of nothing and then later, the sun came out and we went to Matt’s soccer game and all was well.  I still didn’t do any dishes or laundry, but it was fine.  I probably needed one of those do nothing, take no responsibilty type days to get my groove back.

Glad to hear your day of nothingness went great! It always looks better if you look at things you have done for the week! In one day it can make you depressed, but, a week of stuff is great!

Girl!! if that’s what ONE STINKIN’ DAY of inactivity does for you, then I say you should have one of those days more often. I haven’t been that productive all month let alone in one single day!!! YIKES. GO GIRL!!
