Even when it sounds innocent, the underlying message of that question, to me, is that a family is somehow "incomplete" because you don't have at least one of each gender. I love having two girls, and that is perfect for us. Besides, it seems when someone "tries" for a certain gender, they get the opposite. Dang! lol..I think all parents worry about other kids being mean emotionally and physically to their children. I worry more with Alexis because she is so sensitive and with her disability it makes me really worry about kids being mean. They couldn't find anything wrong with it and it healed in about two weeks. Anyway, I totally get it about being done. I JUST got to that point and I've got four kids. But, when they start getting independent and the whole family can do things together instead or mom sitting off w/ the baby, it's really nice. And it is nice not always thinking about and waiting for the next one. Just living with what you're got and loving it. My friend’s daughter just had a similar situtation with her foot. Anyway, I totally get it about being done. I JUST got to that point and I’ve got four kids.
