sometimes

Preston walks around saying “sometimes…..” then follows it up with stuff we do or say or places we go. He always drags it out and it is silly to hear.

Sometimes I feel like writing.  Sometimes I feel like I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head waiting to flow from my brain to my fingertips and spread like liquid across the screen.  Sometimes…

I have a lot of ideas.  I’ve even had a few product ideas, but I’m not sure what kept (keeps) me from moving forward with them.  Fear of failure, I suppose. Pretty classic. Pretty predictable.

If I had a theme song right now, it would Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. Fabulous song, superbly inspiring, totally singable.

I want to write but I’m not sure I could write a whole story; what good are a bunch of half-starts and stutters? What if I accidentally borrow from one of the at-least-a-thousand books I’ve read in my life?

I’ve even had some ideas for a children’s book, but I lack the ability to illustrate – and what the heck good is a picture book without pictures?

Sometimes….I need to write.

And sometimes writing at this place is about all I can manage, time-wise.

Sometimes I need to write too, blogging is about all I can manage these days. Why? I’m not sure either. I’m sticking to my new mantra though (do or do not, there is no try)and it will happen sooner than later. Probably when punkin pie goes back to school. For now just collecting ideas. I suggest you do the same! Collect the ideas and revisit them, it will all come together at some point and you’ll know what to do!
