Sick and tired

Preston, that is.

We came home from shopping on Friday afternoon and he was getting ready to play with his cars and suddenly he threw up all over the ottoman.  Aside from wanting me to carry him from the car, he had no symptoms at all.  Mike and I both panic and while I grab towels, he grabs the boy and  makes a lovely trail to the bathroom.

SIGH.

After a couple of hours of this, I called the pediatrician who reacted with no surprise at all, saying it was going around and that once he stopped throwing up, he would start with the icky poos.

GREAT.

He actually seemed to get better pretty fast, but the explosive wet icky poo? NASTY. And still here this morning.  He’s eating and drinking normally, but his poor butt, all red and irritated.

We’re supposed to go out to lunch for my brother’s birthday today…I hope he’s up to it.

It’s become painfully obvious lately that Matt doesn’t listen to me very well AT ALL.  And he’s lazy. So obviously, I have some work and changes ahead of me to nip this before it gets out of control.

I spent almost 2 hours last night trying to sew something. I got the pattern cut out, got everything ready and then fought with my sewing machine for an hour and a half. What a waste of time. I could’ve done 50 other things instead of fighting with thread.

The Champ suffered through something like that last week. At least the back end part. Not fun.

Oh I feel you cuz. We've already all had this very flu and Grace has it AGAIN. Icky stinky explosive watery poos and she threw up all over her crib last night. Sigh…. PLEASE GOD I pray, just don't let the rest of the family get it. I just can't live through another sickness during this pregnancy!
