(ooh, that sounded a little dirty!)
I’m training to run a half-marathon! Yes, a HALF. Could I do the full? Well, no, probably not, but really, I don’t have any desire to. 26.2 miles takes up a heck of a lot of time when you run as slow as I do! Besides, I’m pretty sure the 13.1 one will be a damn good accomplishment for someone who hasn’t really run since high school! 🙂
But hey, I have almost a year to prep. I’m running the Disney Half-Marathon in January, 2009.
And as to not bore you all to tears here with more of my whining than you get on a regular basis, I’m starting another blog!

good for you. i run when chased, and that is it. so, i admire your effort. if you need a training partner, i would be happy to trail you in my minivan with the theme from rocky blaring in the streets. i may even add a \"go, dawn, go!\"
I could probably use that, because it seems I\'m running a half-marathon as well.

Nom\'s going to do it too??!!! Awesome!! Nothing like having constant support nearby!!
So proud of you for taking on such a challenge! Like raising two boys and running a business isn\'t enough right?
GOOD FOR YOU!!
I give you lots of credit. Maybe having a goal (marathon) looming in front of you, that will be the motivation you need to get to the fitness level you desire. Good luck! And having your hubby commit to it also is an added bonus. You can both motivate each other.
