HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well, it’s a new year.

Goodbye 2007, Hello 2008!!

(And I’m sorry, but Dick Clark? Please, please, please, just retire already. It’s painful to watch you struggle.)

One year, just once in my life I want to do the Times Square on New Year’s Eve thing.  Just once.  Call me crazy, but I just need to see a million people in one place at a time and that much confetti flying through the air.  Just once.

I don’t do the new year’s resolution thing – but I am making some changes in my life later this week – some resolutions, if you will. Coincidentally, there is a new year starting, so if you wanted to call it a new year’s resolution, I suppose you could.  :)  But I won’t be.

But more on that later.

There were wishes written on the confetti dropped in Times Square? That’s pretty cool.  My wishes for the new year are numerous, but here are my top 5 (health and safety of family is at the top, these are the next 5, in no particular order):

  1. Financial stability at work
  2. Getting myself healthy
  3. Less pain & discomfort for my poor old dorkdog
  4. An end to the war in Iraq
  5. To have more fun and stress less. A LOT less.

Happy New Year Dawn! I am with you on wanting to do the Times Square just once in my life. I think everyone should do it. Crowded? Yes, but I am sure it is a blast! Did the boys watch the ball drop last night? Tell them cuties Happy New Year!
