One fish, two fish…

I do not like seafood. Really do not like seafood.  Not shrimp, not clams, not salmon, not cod.  Not whitefish, not swordfish – not green fish, blue fish, orange fish, red fish, or purple fish.  🙂

It is not for lack of effort by my husband.  He lurvs all kinds of fish / seafood – at this very moment, his is stinking up the house with the nastiness of fried shrimp.  I don’t complain (much) since I know how he loves it, but in a word?

EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!

I know, I would never make it in New Orleans or on the East Coast, but really, I just don’t get what all the hullabaloo is about.

The extent of my seafood is crabcakes and crab rangoon.  But please don’t ask me to eat crab by itself.  If it’s not fried and combined with other ingredients, you can forget it.

Would you could you in a boat?

I guess not. So the goat is probably right out of the question, too.

What brings on this anti-seafood tirade? (Just curious. I\'m not a huge seafood fan, but I do like a bit here and there. Or, I guess, I will eat it here or there, but I will not eat it everywhere.)

I agree…I can\'t stand seafood, especially when someone tries to warm it up in the microwave…might as well throw the microwave away after because the smell never goes away and stinks up the whole building. I used to have co-workers that did that. The only type of fish that I ever eat is tuna fish (has to be fancy white albacore) in a tuna fish sandwich or tuna noodle casserole with cream of chicken soup, milk, cheddar cheese, some cayenne and salt and pepper. I always run the cans out to the garbage can outside immediately so they don\'t stink up my house and that cat comes in wanting some.

I will admit that I have never tried Lobster, but I can say that I could probably eat anything dipped in a ton of melted butter. 🙂

Mmmm, crab rangoons–haven\'t made those in awhile…so my friends keep reminding me anyway.
I love tilapia too–you might want to try it, especially the breaded kind. I\'ve got to look around to see what it was I usually bought, because that was damn good stuff.
