I love puzzles.
The other day, when I was helping the boys doing one of their pieces-as-big-as-their-heads puzzles on the floor, I realized it had been a loooooonnnnggg time since I had done a puzzle. We used to do them all the time as kids – my dad even had a special “puzzle board” so we could slide it under the couch in between working on it. The board itself was just a piece of plywood, but the putting the puzzles together was the special part. There is something inherently soothing and satisfying about fitting little tiny pieces of cardboard together to form a fabulous picture.
Today, the small boy and I found a panoramic of Times Square. It’s a wee bit difficult, but I am already enjoying the challenge.
It’s nice to rediscover good memories from childhood. Even nicer to enjoy them later in life.

Funny that you mention that, Punkin pie and I have been doing puzzles together lately. Infact we did a new 3-D Ben 10 one just tonight!! I too loved puzzles and for the special ones, I would glue together and frame them. Just love em!!!
