So here it is, 4 days later – almost 72 hours from my surgery. My rash has faded considerably, my pain is reduced a fair amount (though 800mg Motrin is still lovely). I now look like I have a marble in my mouth on the left side and a golf ball on the right. And the bruises are so attractive! I’m alternating heat and cold on my puffy face and hoping that sometime I will look normal and feel right again. And really hoping that I can open my mouth bigger than a millimeter so I can eat! (and yell at the kids) 🙂
I spent basically the whole weekend in bed. It was not what I had planned or wanted to do, but alas, what choice did I have? I felt so good Friday that I swore we’d be going apple picking on Sunday! Perhaps next weekend…
