STOP LURKING, DARN IT!

🙂

Today has been deemed delurking day, so everyone out there who doesn’t normally comment, or even those of you who do comment sometimes, please take a couple of seconds and say hi. 🙂 The theory, I believe, is that if you don’t comment, then I can’t follow your comment to your blog and therefore can’t comment on your blog. It’s a vicious cycle. Of course, you can read the true story of delurking day by clicking on the big button. ;)  here

In other news, Matt cracked his skull on the sharp wood corner of the stair railing tonight. I could barely touch it to make sure there wasn’t any bleeding – hearing and seeing that made me want to throw up. I’m such a light weight when it comes to the boys getting hurt. Not outwardly, but I did quietly ask Mike if he knew about concussions before jumping online to look up symptoms before I panicked. He seems perfectly fine, by the way. Currently, he’s in my bed watching Thomas with an ice pack sometimes on his bumpy, lumpy head. He took a nap today, so it’s bound to be a late night for the house of goodness. Preston, on the eve of his doctor consultation appointment about sleep, is asleep in his own bed after a few stories and a couple of woefully out of tune songs from mama.

The other day I had a brain cloud. Seriously, you know that feeling you get when you have a bad head cold or water in your ears? Well, I felt like that ALL DAY, but not in my ears, just in my noggin. No cold, no allergies, just brain cloud. And I could not stop yawning – it was absurd – I was yawning every 2-5 minutes ALL.DAY.LONG. After a semi-decent night sleep, it finally subsided, but today, right around dinner time, it started to come back. Unfortunately, I don’t know if it was food or liquid or relaxing for a while that stopped it, I’m just glad it went away.

Hi… I drifted over here from your husband\'s site, and just had to say that I, for one, appreciate the shout-out to \"Joe Versus the Volcano\" – perhaps the greatest film ever made – and its dreaded brain cloud.
