Learning

I took over 200 pictures today, playing with aperture, iso and other strange settings on the camera I’ve had for years.  I want to take pictures that are better than snapshots, so I think it’s time to learn.  Really, I want the manual mode to do it perfectly, but since it doesn’t, I guess I’d better try another avenue.  So now I get to go through all of the pictures to see which settings worked in which situations.  And maybe, just maybe, there are a few good shots in there.  🙂

In completely unrelated but very annoying news, our stupid cat peed on Preston’s bed AGAIN.  I thought it was a fluke yesterday when I noticed it, but today? Not a fluke – definitely on purpose.  This cat has done stuff like this before, usually when something gets him mad (being chased by the dog, running out of food, needing the litter box cleaned out),  but this time? I have no clue.  And I am SO frustrated since I just washed everything yesterday!!  And who is to say he won’t do it again tomorrow??  UGH.  WHY do we have pets?!

Well, if I were P, I wouldn\'t want to sleep in my own bed either! LOL

When we brought Hannah home from the hospital our cat had gotten into her room and peed several times on the carpet near her crib. Maybe he was mad because someone else was feeding him while we were gone or maybe he was jealous. We had to give him back to our friend that we got him from because he would keep going back to her room to pee. Now that your cat has found that space he may continue to do it. We had to leave Hannah\'s door closed until our friend took him back.

I think it\'s soo cool you\'re going to take \"real\" pictures while the rest of us dummies point and shoot! One day I might do the same!

With regards to the cat, I hope he doesn\'t continue to pee- my experience with that situation isn\'t so good. Keep him out of P\'s room and check every corner of every other room just to be safe. New carpeting in everyroom would suck, but new subfloor would suck even more.

As I have always understood, and my experience, a male cat will do that, unless it is nuetered… It is just spraying its territory..
