We’re home!

Ok, so we’ve been home since Tuesday night, but I’ve been so busy recovering from being on vacation that I haven’t had time to blog! I know, I know, I need to get my priorities straight! 😀

We had a fabulous time – the boys were fantastic. Seriously, amazing!! (Now that we’re home, it’s a different story – geez, what is with this kid and not wanting to wear underwear???? He’s driving me bonkers!!)

I have some stories to tell, but not a lot of time now, so I’ll leave you with some little things I learned on vacation:

  1. Hotels are not childproof. Bring your own plug covers if your kids tend to stick their fingers or other objects in them.
  2. Hotel ice is the best.
  3. Even the most laid-back kids get sick of eating in a hotel room. I was a little surprised at how fast the novelty wore off for all of us!
  4. A fridge in the room is very helpful for keeping juice (and probably food, too, if you’re so inclined!)
  5. Preston likes being surrounded with super-squishy pillows.
  6. Matt gets entirely too cranky when he needs to eat or has a cold.
  7. Lake Winnipesaukee is absolutely gorgeous and I would live there in a heartbeat.
  8. Sometimes, peer pressure is the best way to live. 🙂

More later, I promise!
