Ok, so we’ve been home since Tuesday night, but I’ve been so busy recovering from being on vacation that I haven’t had time to blog! I know, I know, I need to get my priorities straight! 😀
We had a fabulous time – the boys were fantastic. Seriously, amazing!! (Now that we’re home, it’s a different story – geez, what is with this kid and not wanting to wear underwear???? He’s driving me bonkers!!)
I have some stories to tell, but not a lot of time now, so I’ll leave you with some little things I learned on vacation:
- Hotels are not childproof. Bring your own plug covers if your kids tend to stick their fingers or other objects in them.
- Hotel ice is the best.
- Even the most laid-back kids get sick of eating in a hotel room. I was a little surprised at how fast the novelty wore off for all of us!
- A fridge in the room is very helpful for keeping juice (and probably food, too, if you’re so inclined!)
- Preston likes being surrounded with super-squishy pillows.
- Matt gets entirely too cranky when he needs to eat or has a cold.
- Lake Winnipesaukee is absolutely gorgeous and I would live there in a heartbeat.
- Sometimes, peer pressure is the best way to live. 🙂
More later, I promise!
