Refurb part one

I spent most of Sunday – about 7 hours, anyway – updating our filing system at the office.  We had these old (OLD) steel (grey) file drawers that were useful but horribly ugly. My dad used them in his original office when I was little and then transferred them to the new office 13 years ago.  We’ve been talking about getting a new system for a while now, but have been waiting for the cash flow to change from a trickle to…well….a flow.  So, this weekend I did it!

Here’s what it looked like before (well, kind of – I forgot to take pics right away). Forgive the quality, camera on phone used.

   And here’s what it  looks like now:

Pretty sweet, if you ask me!  And the staff?  LOVE IT!!  There’s still a lot to be done, as all of the files need to be labeled with letters and names and years, but that’s something that can be done as we go along, thankfully! Next up: new carpet!  Wait til you see the pics of that! EWWW!!
