I could definitely fall from there

They first visitors went out on the the skywalk in the Grand Canyon today. Since I’m only afraid of heights I can fall from, this definitely would freak me out! I’ve been to the Grand Canyon and it is immense and gorgeous and amazing. I even went in a little 6 passenger plane over it (I was too young to be afraid!). But this thing? I don’t think so. It would be spectacular, I’m sure, but can the EMTs really make it out there in time to save me from my heart panic attack? It’s got a 3-inch think glass bottom and can (supposedly) stand up to 100 mph winds, but… NAH._42706759_grand_canyon_416.gif

YIPE!

Tonight was the night of 80’s songs for me. A little OMD If You Leave, followed by some In Your Eyes and then Survivor and even some Journey. And only one of them was on the 80s Channel! 🙂

I have to brave the world of ebay and I am not really looking forward to it. We have a bunch of one brand of frames that we just cannot get rid of. It’s to the point where we can’t even give them away (almost). Rather than continue to have them take up valuable showcase space, I’m willing to get rid of them any way I can. Commence Project Buh-Bye Lafont!

The boys and I took a trip to Toys R Us today – wheeeeeee!! We came home with this:megafort.jpgand thistwistytunnel.jpg (nope, not my kids in the pics!). These are way cool fort building things from Cranium .

Yes, I know we can use furniture and couch cushions and blankets. We do that. A LOT. This is WAY more fun (for me anyway!). With any luck, I’ll get some pictures of the boys playing in it tomorrow.

Preston, as previously noted, has a bit of a cold. Poor boy. He’s having such a hard time sleeping – all stuffed up and runny and congested and icky. Oddly, when he slept with me last night, he slept much better than expected. Hopefully tonight is the same.

I have decided that I want a new bike. I want this one. Badly. I’m obsessing about it. Spring is officially here 😆 (it’s 29 degrees out at this moment). I WANT IT NOW!!

Well, my man has gone to bed, so I guess I’d better hit the lights and call it a day. I’m sure P will be up any second (or as soon as I doze off).

WAIT!

I wanted to vent about idiotic websites.  The kind where you click on them and they’re a bogus site?  Basically a listing or additional search engine type site?  They annoy the snot out of me!!  I’ll find an example for ya’ll tomorrow…the natives are restless…

A glass walkway 1200 meters high? Don\'t think so. When Bossy was in junior high she was made to walk the balance beam or fail gym. She kept telling the gym teacher she was too scared and you know how those gym teachers love scared kids. So up Bossy went and her legs began quaking so furiously that she thought her knees would twist out of their sockets. It was too much for the gym teacher, even, who helped Bossy down and then quit and joined a nunnery. Or at least that\'s how Bossy likes to remember it.
