Visited Henry Ford Museum today with the boys. We just got our membership renewal the other day and thought maybe it would be something fun to do. Indeed it was! The boys were a bit overwhelmed at the size of real trains, loved the cars and trucks and were amazed by the airplanes suspended from the ceiling. They both walked and walked and walked. How they didn’t collapse as soon as we hit the car, I will never know!
After we got home, the neighbors called and asked us to come play in the driveway with their kids. The kids all ran around, kicked balls, drove their little cars and generally burned off energy I have no idea where they store.
Needless to say, after a full day, especially with outside time, we figured they wouldn’t make it much past dinner. HA! Never underestimate the boys’ desire to keep a good day going!! 🙂
I was intending on going to a new scrapbook store tonight. Nope. Then I figured I would just do some scrapbooking. Nope. I parked myself on the couch and read my book (see Book Review for more!) while waiting for Matt to get sleepy enough to let go and surrender to dreamland. By 10, I was completely over scrapbooking and completely into finishing the book.
Up next: visit from grandparents tomorrow and SCRAPBOOKING for me!!
