Snow much fun!

I can’t believe that this was the first time we actually were able to get dressed up and play in the snow this year! What strange weather we’re having these days!! Anyway, here are some pics of the boys. Matt was totally into it, but Preston was a little tentative. The dog, on the other hand, was out of control, acting as if the snow was the pond. Yes, for a supposedly smart dog, she is an idiot (but cute and funny at least!) Oh, and in the <sarcasm> good parenting books, write in that neither boy has actual snow boots that fit him. They have the little work boot boots, but no snow boots. And if you want to know why we don’t rush right out and get some, know that apparently, it has become summer in all of the stores. Seriously. A friend of mine was looking for a swimsuit for her teenage daughter and said that they were all already picked over. It’s FEBRUARY! What. Ev. Er.

Anyway, here are the pics. If you click them, they may even get bigger! πŸ˜‰

In other news: Do you like my multi-blogs today? Felt like I’d been neglecting you, so here I am…again. πŸ˜€ Matt is now into watching his Potty Power dvd and today was telling me how big he is and how he can do things on his own because he’s so big. This was after he pushed his tower to the cupboard, got a cup out (with a top), pushed the tower over to the fridge, filled it with water and put the top on as if he does it all the time. So that leads me to say, ‘Looks like the only thing you aren’t doing on your own is going to the potty’ and my son looks at me and says, ‘Yeah, let’s do that next week’. 😯

Seriously. The kid knows how to go. Knows when he has to go. He’s pooped on the potty. He’s peed a gazillion times in the toilet. He CAN do it. Next week? This from the kid who seriously has no concept of the time/space continuum. Next week. <SIGH> Does anyone know how tremendously tired I am of changing diapers? Seriously? I’m half-hoping Preston is going to want to jump on the bandwagon here and break some potty using record or something! He’s already saying numbers and colors, so what the heck, how about using the potty, too!? Better yet, P should get it figured out before Matt, just to show him up!

Ok, so that’s a little absurd, but a mama can dream, can’t she? πŸ˜€

Fat Tuesday tomorrow. Funny, every Tuesday is fat for me these days! πŸ˜† Perhaps a little fasting for Lent is in order. Yeah. I can give up food. Yep. Watch me. I’m about to pass out from the mere thought of a lack of food! πŸ™‚ Hubby lost 3 pounds last week. I should be motivated by that. I am. Well, sort of. I just need to get exercising and I’ll feel better and be motivated all over the place. So how do I get motivated to start exercising….

Until tomorrow, my little chickadees!
