Merry Christmas Eve!

Yesterday was a nice time at my uncle’s house. It was great watching the 3 grandkids open presents with reckless abandon – paper everywhere, screams of delight, the whole nine yards.  Fantastic!  Matt was really good (he’d had his major meltdown earlier in the day!) and was able to stop himself, with our help, before falling apart a couple of times.  He even put his feeties on for the ride home.  Thankfully he got about 12 hours of sleep, which he desperately needed.  Hopefully today will go as well!

I finished wrapping most of the presents last night, but still have some to do tonight.  Which is fine actually.  :)  We’re hoping to not be home too late and praying that we can get the boys to bed at a decent hour.  We’ll try again with the pjs for the ride home and hope that we can take them right up to bed.  Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Lots to do this morning yet, so I’d better get to it.  We have company coming and this house, as usual, is a disaster!  Probably won’t check in tonight, so Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!!
