Let’s see…what’s going on in pgoodness world? SIGH. Preston fell down the stairs the other day – luckily his face broke his fall (hardeeharhar). Seriously, I thought he lost all his teeth and broke his nose. Alas, he split his lip and was pretty bruised and banged up. But the blood – UGH. I have been blessed with boys; somewhere I hope I’m blessed with knowledge and the ability to remain calm when they really get hurt. 🙂 P. has been an absolute klutz ever since he fell – understandably, he’s also been needy, but not so understandably, he’s mostly needing to take more risks and hurt himself more. Every time we remove him from a dangerous situation he screams and cries to return to it. Again, I SIGH. And then tonight, Matt was being a goofball and sprinting around the house and totally slammed Preston into the floor – bloody lip and time out, coming right up! I’m not so sure why I’m bothered by this more than I normally would be. I guess it’s a combination of my monthly migraine coming on, finding out that the new son-in-law of a friend of the family/business associate was killed in Iraq last week, my mom desperately wanting a new dog and possibly making a poor decision about one, and the guilt of (a) not seeing Shine’s new son yet and he’s almost a month old and (b) never getting in touch with a business friend (until today) to reschedule lunch from August. Oh, and I’m fat. I’m cranky I guess. The funniest thing? The thing that ended up not being the absolute worst about my day was my annual gyno appointment! LOL.
So, I’m gonna crank up some tunes (ok, I can’t crank since the boys are asleep) and do some scrapbooking. The house is a mess and I just don’t freaking care. Because I wanna put on mymymymymy boogie shoes…… 😀
Oh, but before I go, one for the funny things they say list:
I was telling Matt that I had to go to the doctor and he asked if I needed medicine. I told him no, just a checkup and he gets a huge grin on his face and screams out “I LOVE THE CHECKUP!!!” LOL. 😀

Oh honey, you so don\'t have to feel guilty!! I think you\'ve had plenty going on in your own life. My brother on the other hand, other than work, there is nothing, so he has no excuse!! You have two young boys, your husband and a business to run- plus a puppy to deal with! You\'ll see him soon enough, maybe we\'ll stop by the office for a visit soon!
