It’s a GIRL!

Please join us in welcoming Maggie to the family! She came home from Canada on Wednesday night. Needless to say, I’ve been a little busy the last couple of days! She’s doing very well, though! We’ve already started working on potty training – which apparently means that she trains us to jump up and take her out every time she sniffs around at all and then pees on the floor anyway. 🙂 We’ll get it, soon, I hope. The good news is that we’re all getting a lot more fresh air and Riley has been enjoying that aspect at least. He actually doesn’t seem to mind her very much so far. He’s basically hanging out in our bedroom more for the peace and quiet. The boys like her, but they don’t like her jumping on them. We’re very diligently working on that – no jumping!! She seems pretty intelligent and I’m hoping she catches on to the no jumping thing like she’s caught on to sitting for us. 😀
