Turkey & Swiss

May 4, 2006 · 0 comments

The perfect post-workout, pre-bedtime snack. Slice of swiss cheese, deli-thin sliced turkey, roll it together and YUM! LOL. ๐Ÿ˜€

I wasn’t going to go to the gym tonight. I wanted to scrapbook. I wanted to clean the house. I wanted to sit on the couch, eat ice cream and watch both episodes of House. My dear hubby asked me 3 times if I was going to go. I said something lame, and he said “You don’t have to go”. Crap. Yes I do. Although my excitement left a lot to be desired, by the time I got my stuff together and got out of the house, I was ready to exercise.

  • Today’s Fitness Log:
35 Minutes on treadmill (the real kind, not the I-can’t-freaking-stop-tripping kind), including 4, then 1, then 1 running minute intervals and a few minutes of incline 9 just for fun. ๐Ÿ˜€
A few random laps in the pool (which I had all to myself!) and some pool resistance triceps and back work).
  • I really want to write a lot more, but I’m tired, it’s late and I’m sure one or both of the boys will be waking up as soon as I fall asleep. So, here’s a summary:
    * Matt’s drop off at daycare was CRAPPY today. Worse in months. Days like this (and there have been many lately), combined with other stuff that happens there – which I will talk about soon – make me want to save the cash and keep him at home. Of course, I don’t really know how I would work, but it could happen. ๐Ÿ˜›
*P was super good at lunch today with the fam.
    * I’m having a hard time figuring out how to celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom and mom-in-law, and still keep the day all to myself.
    * I’ll have to post a pic, but the thing that put the biggest smile on my face today was Matt coming downstairs this morning with his pjs, Elly and a baseball hat on. ADORABLE.
    * I’m sure there’s more, but it’ll have to wait. You’ll come back, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Song Lyrics of the Day (Maroon 5 – Harder to Breathe)
How dare you say that my behavior is unacceptable
    So condescending unnecessarily critical
I have the tendency of getting very physical
So watch your step cause if I do you’ll need a miracle

You drain me dry and make me wonder why I’m even here
This Double Vision I was seeing is finally clear
You want to stay but you know very well I want you gone
Not fit to fuckin’ tread the ground that I’m walking on
