What a day!

The small boy woke up not feeling so great this morning, so we all stayed home today. Not so much what I was planning, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? So between the two of them, I've either been changing poopy diapers (8, for the record), making or washing bottles, feeding the little man, or holding one or both of them. I'm beat. And of course, I actually did start to get some work done for the 20 minutes that they were both sleeping out of my arms, but that came to an abrupt halt. In fact, the little man is about to put my blog to rest prematurely as well…

Alrighty, then. Here I am, but now I'm pretty much ready for bed and too exhausted to blog anymore. I'm having a hard time getting into some sort of regular routine with the boys. Although, I guess you could say we do have one, seeing as we do about the same thing everyday…but it's not quite what I'm looking for, especially since I'm not really back at work yet. Honestly, if I had my way, I'd work from home every day except one where I would spend the whole day there. Just enough to be seen and get things done, just rare enough that I don't have to worry about getting there. Ah well, it will come. Maybe once Peanut starts sleeping a little better and I can stay up past 9 or 9:30 every night, then I can come up with something different.

So, in honor of being up 14 minutes past my bedtime right now, here is a list of things I want / need to do that I can't seem to find the time or energy or just plain gumption to get done.

– Scrapbooking (this would be a time issue)
– Cleaning out my van (this would be a time and gumption, and heck, as filthy as it is, an energy issue as well)
– Updating my website with new photos (time)
– Updating my website because I'm bored with it ( time)
– Finally finishing the laundry (how can two children, one of which can't even hold his head up yet and two adults make so much dirty laundry??? It's boggling)
– Shopping for the decorative touches to finish my finally-painted bathroom (hmmm..this is really a gumption issue, as it means dragging the little man from store to store to find what I want…)
– Sleeping (none of the above – it's an age issue. Maybe when they go away to college…)
– Watching a movie from beginning to end without pausing it or rewinding it because someone is screaming or crying or in need of something…
