There must be something wrong with me

I'm watching a show on FOX. It's called Reunion or something or other. It's not really all that good, but it's on. Basic story about a group of friends in the 80s, stealing from a number of classic 80s movies – including the whole poor kid who's best friends with the rich kid who gets him to cover for him so his life isn't ruined. blah blah blah. And of course, you've got the obligatory quiet friend who is in love with the popular girl (you know, the one who sleeps around for happiness), the quiet girl who is in love with the aforementioned quiet guy, and the girl who accidentally slept with poor guy while on a break from dating rich guy. Anyway, one of them is dead now and apparently murder is suspected (I missed the first 2 minutes, so I'm a little lost on that).

ANYway, I am now on some fierce steroid treatment to get rid of this allergic reaction to an antibiotic. Makes me wonder if there is an antibiotic that I'm not allergic to. I've never been good with medications – if something causes sleepiness, it knocks me straight out; if it's stronger than aspirin, it makes me feel sick. The only exception to the rule is NyQuil because it knocks me out so damn fast, I don't have time to be sick. So, I'm itching, but a little less (either thanks to that, or to this spray cortaid or psychologically), but I'm sick of it.

So, the boy is quite a toddler these days. He gets upset at the oddest things (like when it's time to stop tossing him up in the air and dropping him on the couch), or if you look at him wrong when he gets up in the morning. I mean we're talking full-out crying, screaming, etc. We're thinking that he's probably finally working on his 2-year molars or just still uptight and confused about us bringing baby home or a combination of those two. Either way there is really never a dull moment now! And when he's happy? LOOK OUT – those screeches and laughter could break glass and make anyone smile. Ought to be interesting, figuring it all out as we go along. The fun of parenting.

Well, I'm on infant duty tonight and Nom is on toddler. Hopefully by splitting up at least one of us will get a little bit of sleep!
